This guideline was developed by the BfRkurz fürBundesinstitut für Risikobewertung with advice from experts from the BfRkurz fürBundesinstitut für Risikobewertung Commission for Consumer Products. A targeted consultation was held with stakeholders in the area of food contact materials and the draft guidance was discussed with members of the EFSAkurz fürEuropean Food Safety Authority (Europäische Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit) FCM Network. A summary of the comments submitted, along with a brief explanation from the BfRkurz fürBundesinstitut für Risikobewertung regarding their consideration or non-consideration in the final version of this guideline, is presented in the annex.
