BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment Guideline for risk assessment of non-intentionally added substances (NIAS) in the area of food contact materials

This guideline was developed by the BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment with advice from experts from the BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment Commission for Consumer Products. A targeted consultation was held with stakeholders in the area of food contact materials and the draft guidance was discussed with members of the EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority FCM Network. A summary of the comments submitted, along with a brief explanation from the BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment regarding their consideration or non-consideration in the final version of this guideline, is presented in the annex.
