The platform is an initiative of the national contact point of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority) - the EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority Focal Point at the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment).
Among other things, it serves to support risk communication experts from Germany in communicating information to consumers in a coherent, precise and understandable way. There is also the associated oursafefood newsletter, which can be subscribed to by e-mail.
