"Bf3R Insights": Online seminars on the protection of laboratory animals

What it's about:

Where and how can I find out about alternatives to animal testing? Why is it useful to register an animal experiment in advance? What do I need to keep in mind when reporting laboratory animals? These questions relating to animal testing are addressed in the monthly online seminar series "Bf3R Insights" organised by the German Centre for the Protection of Laboratory Animals (Bf3R, www.bf3r.de/en) at the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). The seminars offer insights into the main areas of work of the Bf3R, which has now been in existence for ten years. Registration for individual or multiple seminars is free of charge at www.bfr-akademie.de/english

"Bf3R Insights" starts on 7 October 2025 at 3 p.m. (CET). After the presentation of the German Centre for the Protection of Laboratory Animals, the topic will be "Pre-registration of animal experiments – animalstudyregistry.org". The next seminar on 4 November at 3 p.m. will focus on the National Committee at the Bf3R. On 2 December 2025 at 3 p.m., the focus will be on "Artificial & Human Intelligence in Literature Research for Alternative Method Candidates".
