Description and Objective

Coordinate and promote implementation of appropriate statistical methods, especially Bayesian latent class models (BLCM) through networking and knowledge transfer between BLCM experts and researchers from the fields of statistics, epidemiology, diagnostics and public health. Specifically, the project will (a) increase the visibility and collaboration of BLCM researchers, (b) promote stakeholder engagement, (c) provide training and networking opportunities for early career researchers from less research-intensive countries, (d) create training opportunities for policy makers and stakeholders, (e) establish a free online repository for BLCMs, (f) establish an international society for BLCMs, and (g) organise the first international conference of this society. It is not a project with classical research activities.
