EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority Focal Points with an explanatory document on the activities within their remit. It aims to ensure coherent processes and efficiency within the FP network. The guide describes the general framework for cooperation with
EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority and the other national Focal Points and presents various instruments and channels of cooperation. It also presents the activities of the Focal Points in a narrower sense, outlining their framework, vision and mission and detailing the different types of activities - both principal and tailor-made - that can be carried out by the Focal Points and the tools that can be used to implement them.
The tailor-made activity 1.12 aims to develop a concept for keeping the
BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment World Food Safety Almanac up-to-date and to provide Focal Points with helpful documents for conducting accuracy checks for their profiles in the online World Food Safety Almanac (WFSA), such as manuals, instructions, checklists, tips for conducting the annual checks, sample letters for institutions and a letter of support from the
BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment. In addition, materials for communication about the almanac are to be created, such as tips for promoting the almanac, delivering text modules, a promotional flyers, a template for a presentation and several visual graphics. Furthermore, feedback on the WFSA and possible bottlenecks should be collected.
