Project description:
The wildling mouse is a new preclinical mouse model that - in contrast to conventional laboratory mice - has a natural microbiome. Results from research using animal models should ideally be generalisable and applicable to a broader context. However, the external validity of the Wildling mouse model has not yet been systematically evaluated. The overall goal of the C3R-HeaD study is to assess the external validity of research conducted with wildling mice compared to SPF mice.
