The three-part BfR video series ‘Mit Sicherheit lecker’ (Delicious and safe) takes a closer look at hygiene practices in the kitchen and shows a professional chef preparing a simple dish. The chef makes a number of hygiene mistakes that could lead to food poisoning. The videos highlight the mistakes and also demonstrate the basic rules of kitchen hygiene.

‘Mit Sicherheit lecker’ is a versatile video series for different target groups, designed to educate people about hygiene mistakes in private households and can be used for educational purposes. The format was developed and published by the BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment to raise awareness of kitchen hygiene and the associated health risks. The videos can be shown individually or in sequence. This also gives learners the opportunity to identify incorrect and exemplary hygiene behaviour without assistance.
