Unsolicited application for internship / Master's thesis / Bachelor's thesis

The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment offers the following opportunities for interested parties:

• School internship
• Work shadowing (voluntary and compulsory internships)
• Visiting researcher (bachelor's, master's or doctoral thesis)

Please indicate the unit(s) to which your application is directed. Your application will then be forwarded to the unit(s) you have specified. For school internships and work experience placements, non-scientific domains (administration, IT, library) may also be specified.

Your application will be accepted upon confirmation of receipt. Please refrain from enquiring about the status of your application. If you do not hear from us within the next four weeks, we regret that we are unable to offer you a place. Your application will then be deleted. 

The following documents must be enclosed with your application:

• Indication of the unit(s) to which your application is addressed (without this information, your application cannot be assigned!)
• Your objective (thesis, compulsory internship, voluntary internship)
• Short cover letter
• Curriculum vitae
• Detection/documents
  • For school internships:
    Internship agreement
  • For compulsory internships:
    Current certificate of enrolment (e.g. enrolment certificate) stating the field of study and the number of semesters completed, as well as evidence of the requirement to complete the internship (e.g. extract from the examination or study regulations)
  • For final theses:
    Certificate of enrolment, template for topic, if already available

After receiving confirmation from a unit, the contractual arrangements will be handled centrally by the Legal Department. The relevant relationship can only begin once the agreement has been signed.
