Project description: A method for the determination of T-2 and HT-2 toxin in cereal-based foods for infants and young children by LC-MS/MS will be developed at the BfR. This method has been thoroughly validated in house for oats and oat products.
This method will be able to quantify the T-2 and HT-2 toxin in cereal- based foods by LC-MS/MS according the performance criteria in Annex II of COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 401/2006.
The method will also be validated in an international collaborative trial in accordance with ISO 5725 guideline for the accomplishment of collaborative studies. The method validation report will be published as a working document of the Art. 64-LFGB “Mykotoxine” work and the method description in German will be published in the method collection in accordance with Art. 64-LFGB (BVL L 15.04-1) in January 2012.
