Conference Dinner at "Schloss Diedersdorf"

European Pesticide Residue Workshop (EPRW) - Das Kongresslogo

The Conference Dinner will take place on Monday, 2 June, 2008 at “Schloss Diedersdorf”, a country estate with castle located in rural environment approximately 25 kilometres away from the Estrel Convention Center.

The transfer will start at 7 p.m. in front of the Estrel hotel and the busses will bring you directly to the venue. Please do not miss the busses as we will not be able to provide any transportation after 7 p.m. After the conference dinner the bus shuttle back to the hotel regularly starts at 0 p.m. You will arrive at the hotel at approximately 0.30 p.m. When demanded by a sufficient number of participants, we will also offer an earlier shuttle.

The two locations in which the conference dinner takes place, the “Kuhstall” (cowhouse) and the “Schmiede” (smithy) have a typical German rustic ambience. You will have the possibility to sit inside and outside (certainly only if the weather is fine). Outside and in the “Kuhstall” you will sit at ale benches.

For your entertainment we will have a Live-Band and a DJ. Furthermore a school choir will give you amongst others a short impression about German folk songs.  Most of the entertainment programme takes place in the “Kuhstall. If you prefer a more quiet place, you can choose a seat in the “Schmiede”.

The dinner will be a buffet. When the weather is fine you will also find outside kind of market stands that offer mainly local gastronomic specialities (of course, included in the conference fee).

Drinks include beer, wheat beer, German white and red wine, soft drinks, orange and apple juice, mineral water and hot drinks like tea, coffee or chocolate.

As the conference dinner takes place in a rustic atmosphere, clothes for casual wear and convenient shoes are recommended.
