Location

Berlin, the capital of Germany, where the EPRW 2008 will take place, is a young city historically. Berlin seems to be wild, noisy and chaotic, but even it’s contradictions are a part of it’s appeal.
Berlin offers a lot of sights: historical buildings, museums, cultural events and an exciting night life. But Berlin is also a green city and have a lot of beautiful parks, the botanical garden and two animal parks.
A quick view of the city centre area is possible by using the public transport. The double-deckers of the bus lines 100 and 200 take nearly 30 minutes from the Alexanderplatz to Zoo and give a first impression on the historic sites of Berlin.
But visitors can also explore Berlin by city transit (S-Bahn) or by boat along the 197 kilometers of navigable waterways.
