Information sheets for physicians

The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (up to 31 October 2002 Federal Institute for Consumer Health Protection and Veterinary Medicine) publishes information sheets for physicians, some of them in cooperation with the Robert Koch Institute. They provide insight into the latest scientific findings on the spread, symptoms, latest prevention/treatment options and on transmission paths in the case of infectious diseases.

  • Beef tapeworm infection in man
  • Brucellosis
  • Echinococcosis
  • Early summer meningoencephalitis (FSME)
  • Lyme borreliosis
  • Trichinellosis

They are available on the Internet and can be downloaded free-of-charge.
