Travelling to the BfR in Dahlem by air

Arrival at Berlin-Tegel airport

• From Tegel airport take bus X9 (direction Zoologischer Garten). The bus departs from in front of the main entrance to the airport.
• Get off the bus at the stop “Zoologischer Garten“.
• Walk to the U-Bahnhof (underground station) and take the U-Bahn (underground) line 9 (direction Rathaus Steglitz) to Rathaus Steglitz. The entrance to the underground station is in front of the entrance to the railway station “Zoologischer Garten“.
• At the underground station Rathaus Steglitz follow the signs for bus M48 (direction Zehlendorf/Busseallee).
• Then take bus M48 (direction Zehlendorf/Busseallee) and get off at the stop “Unter den Eichen/Thielallee“.
• Cross over Thielallee and turn left onto Thielallee.
• BfR is located about 100 m further down on the right side.
  

The entire journey takes about 55 minutes.

Arrival at Berlin-Schönefeld airport

• At the airport take the suburban railway (S-Bahn) S 45 (direction Gesundbrunnen). The suburban railway stop is located about 10 minutes on foot from the airport. There is also a free shuttle service.
• Get off at the stop “Innsbrucker Platz“.
• Then take bus M48 (direction Zehlendorf/Busseallee) and get off at the stop “Unter den Eichen/Thielallee“.
• Cross over Thielallee and turn left onto Thielallee.
• BfR is located about 100 m further down on the right side.
