Scientific Program
Participation in ICT-14 is open to scientists, students and anyone interested in the study or control of Trichinella and trichinellosis. The scientific program will consist of plenary sessions and poster presentations. The sessions will be introduced by keynote speakers. The official language is English. The program will cover a variety of topics related to Trichinella and trichinellosis, including:
- Biology
- Phylogeny
- Genomics and proteomics
- Host-pathogen interaction, immunology
- Detection
- Epidemiology
- Human trichinellosis and treatment
- Legislation and control
