The Staff Unit Policy Matters and Strategic Planning reports directly to the BfR Governing Board. It supports the President and Vice President in their daily routine work. Within this framework the staff unit is responsible for the:

Preparation of decisions for the Institute’s senior management
Preparation of opinions and concepts for the strategic orientation of BfR
Preparation and staging of visit programmes for German and foreign guests on behalf of senior management
Planning and coordination of twinning projects
