+++ The final Program and the Abstract Book are available now - please visit "Scientific Program".+++

Dear scientists,

As a food-borne zoonosis, trichinellosis remains a public health concern in several regions of the world. Found in various animals and their meat, trichinellosis is enormously important in terms of food safety and global trade.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the International Commission on Trichinellosis we would like to invite you to participate in the 14th International Conference on Trichinellosis (ICT-14) held in Berlin, Germany, from 14 to 18 September 2015. The conference will be organised by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Free University Berlin (FUB), the Section of Parasitology of the German Society of Veterinary Medicine (DVG) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).

The scientific sessions of ICT-14 will focus on current efforts and recent advances in Trichinella research and control. We are sure that the scientific symposium will provide good opportunities for a fruitful dialogue that will contribute to a better understanding of this zoonotic pathogen. As in previous conferences, the scientific and social programme will provide an excellent platform for networking and also serve to strengthen communication, cooperation and friendship between participants.
