Project description:
The standardisation of methods of analysis is of vital importance to ensure the uniform application of the European Directives and controls and guarantee a high level of food and feed safety.
Aim of the project is the validation and standardisation of a method for the determination of melamine and cyanuric acid in feed by LC-MS/MS and, ultimately, the preparation of the respective European norm. Responsibilities of the BfR in this project are the preparation of a draft method, organisation and evaluation of a method validation study, preparation of a draft norm and its revision prior to the final European norm.
